Rising Powers and Global Standards is an inter-disciplinary research network that focuses on the Rising Powers – notably China, India, and Brazil - and the ways in which they are transforming the governance of international standards.
The network was funded by a grant under the ESRC’s Rising Powers, Global Challenges and Social Change initiative. The Rising Powers and Global Standards network is based at the School of Environment and Development,University of Manchester.
The authors are working at the German Development Institute, Bonn and the International Institute of Social Studies of ErasmusUniversity, Rotterdam.
